For many couples, getting married in church, Temple or any other Religious establishment  is not an option. Whether it’s for a religious reason or maybe they are looking for a unique Miami setting for their ceremony, it seems to be happening more frequently.

South Florida has some amazing wedding reception locations with even better wedding ceremony settings. You can choose to have your ceremony on one of Miami’s best beaches, an amazing rooftop overlooking the city or a beautiful Garden. The options are endless. Here are some of our favorites.

When planning your outdoor ceremony, you will need to keep it mind a few things. First and foremost, weather. South Florida’s weather is very unpredictable. One minute it can be sunny and beautiful and the next there is a cloud overhead raining down, not to mention the summer heat! We suggest checking the Wedding Almanac when selecting a date for your outdoor wedding.

The next thing to consider is noise. You will be outside. Whether it is a plane flying above or a group of onlookers there will always be some noise.  If you are using Musicians for your ceremony, we suggest having some sort of amplification or microphones for your musicians and officiant. If you elect not to use Musicians, Vision DJs can provide you with one of our Ceremony Systems to play your requested music for the prelude (while guest arrive), processional of the Bridal Party and the Bride, special traditions (e.g. unity candle, sand Ceremony) and recessional (You may now KISS the Bride). We can also provide your wedding officiant with a wireless microphone and/or a microphone stand if needed. Contact Us for more information.

According to Martha Stewart, The officiant you choose can enrich your overall wedding experience and help you prepare for married life. Getting to know your officiant and discussing what you can expect from each other will help eliminate unnecessary anxiety on your wedding day. Read More
